as an amature beer bottle collector, having only just begun, I have two bottles,

I am going to begin having a weekly guest lager with my Sunday lunch, and would be very grateful for any recommendations to get the ball, or bottle, rolling

If you find Koenig Pilsener on sale ANYWHERE in the UK - on draft, in bottles or in a shop, please a) drink a lot of it and b) tell me where you can get it. Genuinely the finest lager in the world.

No, German. Comes from Duisburg, where my grandparents had a pub on what is now the site of the brewery, no less (I spent my first Christmas there). Whilst proudly wearing my KP t-shirt, I happily relayed this information to some posh bloke who INSISTED to me that he knew it was Swedish...

I'm clearly biased but it really is a fantastic beer.

Keep it local, Hepworth Blonde organic lager, from Horsham, spot on.
