Adrian Harmes superb tonight- listened on way back and nailed it - our 3 mega flop signings of 50m (Loco, Ali J, Izzy) have done nothing- who will carry the can for this utter shambles!!? ??

Even more depressing when you look at Burnley with Wood & Barnes up front.

Propper is on the brink of the Dutch first team and plays in a more advanced role for them - scores goals. Yet for us it seems like he gets a nosebleed if he crosses the halfway line.

More like he gets shouted at by Hughton if he crosses the halfway line.

Harmes and Cantor surprisingly venture their opinions, not always favourable to players and the club. I like that; not doormats afraid of upsetting the club.

Unlike Andy Naylor who is clearly staying on message. Probably angling for a job at the club

Something is badly wrong with our tactics. Hughton has a lot to answer for here. How many goals have our midfielders scored this season?

Hard to score when you're 40 yards away from our single striker.

Actually if DP has had a shot last night instead of dithering and losing the ball Cardiff wouldn't have broken with pace and scored their first goal.

Note the expression - break with pace - how often do we do that?

We do other managers team talks for them. “The Albion have:
1. No pace in their squad.
2. No true pace up front.
3. A midfield 40 yards from their striker.
4. Izquierdo never looks up when attacking & gives the ball away.
5. They never change fornation.
6. Go at them from the whistle, they have no pace”.

In their under-stated manner, that’s shirley damning of the club’s PL recruitment and coaching.

I was nodding in agreement as I listened to that on way home. Spot on Warren!

Surely number 7 in the list should be "we are predictable in every way". Throw-ins, corners, free kicks. We even do the same ****ing kick off every game

& the same corner.

Back stick to Duffy for a header back across goal.

Every. Single. Time.

Naylor and some of the other 'journalist's are letting themselves down with their happy clappy nothing is wrong writing today

Naylor: "If we sack Hughton who could possibly replace him"
*List of realistic names produced and one bloke says Eddie Howe for a laugh / because he's mad*
Naylor: "See there's no way Eddie Howe would come here in this totally representative tweet I've picked out, leave Hughton be."

Not even all the problems. All over the park we are weak.
CB pairing have been found wanting against any sort of mobility. At this level Duffy really needs moving.
Montoya positioning is some of the worst I’ve seen for a RB
Bernardo - good player good signing but a lot stillntonlearn

Midfield is very poor at this level.
Propper has something but needs to play at 10 as he did before coming here.
Stephens currently offers nothing defensively or attack wise to slow and passing appalling. No idea what Kayal has to do to get a game
Gross not a number 10 lacks pace and mobility to be playing there. If anywhere at moment he should be the one to pick the ball up In front of the back 4
Not 1 of the 4 alleged wingers offer anything at this level. None of can beat a man consistently or cross a ball consistently
CF - we are relying on a 37 year old to get goals. Andone jury’s our but he’s one who looks like something may happen from and Locadia just more wasted cash.

Sure Dan Ashworth is in to try and address but that £50 million on Ali J locadia and Izzy could have been spent so much better.
Brooks at Bournemouth 12 million quid
Woods burnley 12 million quid
Should have spent some money on players like James at Swansea all players who would want to prove themselves but we didn’t look at them

Go after Che Adams from Birmingham

Both Brooks and James were recommended by the scouts last summer but rejected by the analytics team, who make Bob Booker, the original clipboard kid, seem like Einstein.

Been saying it for ages - the SINGLE biggest factor is our lack of pace especially in midfield and attack but clearly not something our recruitment team have understood since we have failed to sign anybody with it apart from Izzy who the jury is still very much out

Why does he insist every time when cutting inside to not look up and shoot from unrealistic positions and sky it 30 yards above the goal?

Appreciate the strike at West Ham however as a professional footballer surely he must know shots like that are pure luck, so frustrating to watch

Naylor is toeing the club line of no social media since last night.
Gets all his stories from here anyway.
Unless he has been cc'd in on a club email to employees like Barbers rallying call the other day.

The Argus readership has collapsed to a tiny fraction of its heyday.

NSC is THE quickest way to find out all things Albion.

I wonder if that upsets the Argus team.
