He was there today wasn't he? The lad with the orange boots?

Would it not be better idea to recall Cook? Or is the local rag down there correct in the thinking that they are going to sign up in Jan?

Would seem Bournemouth have a bit of cash at the moment as they've been after some mush from Swindon for half a million.

Cook's loan is finished on Saturday so why recall him when we have a perfectly capable reserve full back here?

I've never even heard of this Hall chap let alone know if he's any good. Judging by this thread that's the case with the majority on here. Personally I'd go for experience over potential any day. Also by all accounts Cook has been pretty damn good down at Dean Court hence why they want to buy him.

Grant Hall has played as much as Cook. Bournemouth asked us for a loan and Cook was willing to go. They are as experienced as each other.

we seem to be very good at bringing through centre backs, but who was the last strong full back that we brought through the youth set up? Sam Rents?

Hall was on the bench today so not as said just called up for the Coventry game. I expect Navarro to replace Bridcutt at Coventry and possibly if fit JFC or Hoskins to be on the bench.

Ryan Simmonds has been the stand-out midfielder for the development squad this season. Wonder if he might get to sit on the bench on Saturday?

How do you work that one out? Hall's substitute appearance today was his first senior one wasn't it?

he didnt come on at all, I'm sure you mean...his first appearance on the bench as a substitute?

Cook has only had a couple of senior appearances in cup games so if you're going to be pedantic!

But he's been playing first team football in the division below and by all accounts playing very well. So not I'm not being pedantic in the slightest. Cook is far more experienced than this Hall chap.

Yes I did. Which is kinda my point.

Yes, for us. But he's been getting games for Bournemouth, which makes him more experienced in league football than Grant Hall, who to my knowledge has never played a senior game for a professional club.
