The actress who played Mrs McCluskey lived for some time (she may still do, for all I know) in Hurstpierpoint. She was the staple choice when Downlands School needed a minor celebrity to open the school fete and Jimmy Hill wasn't available

Was shocked when cast member Laura Sadler died after falling out of a building in June 2003; four years earlier her Grange Hill character Judi Jeffreys was killed after slipping and falling out of the window of a burning storeroom in the school.

Remember that episode as well.

Did that Mrs McCluskey live in Haywards Heath or has some dealings there these days, or was it that locals just spotted her doing some shopping in the Heath?
