This a million times over. How are their fans/the media any more patient than Chelsea's?
Surely it'll be exactly the same. We KNOW his methods take years to bed in.
This just screams Chelsea Mark II to me.

Moyes got neither time nor patience. How are their fans/the media any more patient than Chelsea's?

They do seem an almost unmanageable dressing room.Moyes got neither time nor patience.
Mourinho and Van Gaal got a bit but they are big names with hugely impressive CVs and history of silverware.
Solskajaer got some because of his affinity and past but was still binned.
ETH has been chewed up and looks totally out of his depth.
If Potter goes, it shows he's learned nothing from the Chelsea debacle.
Another toxic club, of big egos, limited ability and massive expectation.
It will end same as Chelsea. Potter hasn't got the personality for such a task imho.
That is the main sticking point for him, I cannot envisage United fans putting up with his mundane, bland post match interviews with his reasons why they are not quite there yet and these things take time to gel (we all know they do)Potter hasn't got the personality for such a task imho.
Not proved. For proof, more time would have been needed. Boehly lost his nerve and didn't give him the time to shift out the trouble-makers. Poch came in in the summer, and has pretty much done exactly what Potter probably would have done, with similar results - the only difference is that there isn't the same clamour from the fans to get him out and get in someone famous enough. As he’d get virtually no time to turn that poisoned chalice around before fans turned it would be an enjoyable continuation of the “gift that keeps giving”
The man is not capable of dealing with superstar Prima Donnas. Proved at Chelsea
This will not happen, sadly.
Palace is where he should go but I hope he doesn’t
*gets absolutely demolished at home to Man City*That is the main sticking point for him, I cannot envisage United fans putting up with his mundane, bland post match interviews with his reasons why they are not quite there yet and these things take time to gel (we all know they do)
He will exacerbate them and have them frothing at the mouth, calling for his head before a month is out, if he does not hit the ground running.
Hold a grudge, do you? Some may disagree but I’m firmly of the belief that he wasn’t really all that great for us - De Zerbi’s shown that 1000-fold - and by sheer naked greed and a craven overambition laughably unmatched by his true talent he’s gone and utterly buggered up his own career. I mean what’s not to love about that?
So for the record I’d love him to make a similar mistake again. His Chelsea stint - slow-witted over-promoted boring Brummy meets thick trashy flashy Yank - was some of the purest comedy the great game has ever had to offer.
You don't take rejection very well do you? It is time to move on. MANCHESTER UNITED’S incoming sporting director Dan Ashworth has met with Graham Potter as pressure grows on Erik ten Hag. Ex-Chelsea boss Potter is the favourite of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his assist…www.thesun.co.uk

I wonder if that will be the case in the next round too...I went to their game vs Forest in the cup. Two woeful teams, what struck me about manure was the total lack of tactics/ game plan. It was like watching a different sport vs watching the Albion. Surely Potter would at least improve on that?
Was Dan 'Charlie Dimmock' Cashworth in the Falklands too? Guess you can't avoid bumping into somebody you know if your shared passion happens to be bothering penguins and history field trips.Dan Ashworth is on gardening leave. Not allowed to do business for Man Utd!
Agreed, along with a number of other individuals.I personally think he will look back and think he should never have left Brighton as it will never be as good for him again.
Two unemployed people meet and talk - bit hard to stop that happening. They're former colleagues - perhaps they're just reminiscing about the good old days!Dan Ashworth is on gardening leave. Not allowed to do business for Man Utd!
