Wow that took 7 LONG days.

All the club had to do was sack a decent man.
Deal with a multi million pound compensation package.
Then employ half a dozen people on mutually acceptable terms.

Yes it really was.
The amount of times I refreshed NSC.

First impression doesn't seem to be a man who will handle the pressure of the Premier League, time will tell, come on Harry!!

From that two minutes?

Brighton / Hove actually
I reckon that if Potter wasn't available we would have kept Hughton until the next manager with long term potential came along.

I don't believe for a minute that there was a list let alone with anyone on it.

They've got his age wrong
I'm sure Bloom mentioned his time in Norway? So did somebody else. I thought it was Sweden?

I know it's not quite there when face to face, but Potty doesn't half remind me of Super Hans.

But Potter WASN'T available? Unless you're suggesting some 'tapping up' by the club...

"(former) Peterhead player Kyle Macauley, who joins Albion as assistant head of recruitment, reporting to Paul Winstanley."

Is it only me who can see that structure as having a bit of potential tension in it?

Potter's man reports upwards to someone Potter has inherited from the previous Management structure.

Hmm??

Possibly. I think this is quite clever and almost certainly a little deliberate. Bloom will be thinking "perfect opportunity to see just how good Winstanley is at this job".
