TO be honest attendances are dropping all over the place and at an average of £30 a ticket it does not take a genius to work out why. We are in a fortunate position that we have a new stadium and are top of the league.

Let's be honest for a moment here, if we had been at The Amex for ten years and were mid table- what would the crowd be?

Something simple like a free ticket when you buy a shirt for example - it's simple stuff but people see a football top , they get interested , look it up and plan to go , buy a shirt and the fanbase rebuilds.

Ok it's Palace so probably won't work like that but could work on spreading the word and filling the stands.

Its a tough one as the palace support is not really very passionate. Just look at their demonstration in The City which was about 200 teenagers who got laughed out of the place. Not exactly Brighton v York City was it? I respect them for trying but really, palace are about where they should be with 9000-14000 crowds. In fact given they were getting 4000 crowds in the mid 80s and only about 15,000 when they were top half of the top flight then its difficult to see what their expectations are. They could however help themselves by allowing Brighton to take as many as we want tho'.
