BBC Radio presenter Gordon Sparks dies aged 61 following cancer battle

The radio host was being treated at St Luke's Hospice in Plymouth until his death, with stars and heartbroken colleagues sharing tributes after his passing.

Used to love talking to this bloke on my trips with the Albion to Home Park.

Literally bled Green and White, when talking to his producers down the line at full time, clearly off air, he always use to ask "How did the scum get on?" (Referring to Exeter City )
