All politicians are corrupt, they serve themselves rather than doing what is best for the country, everything they do is short term, because they are worried that they wouldn't be in power when any long term plans came to fruition. It's the system not the people at fault.

They should just concentrate on only what is important to this country, ie education, pensions, security / law and order, Health, and generating prosperity, rather than the current fashion of spending money like its going out of fashion and suffocating this country with high taxes and bad debts.

Not to condone any of it, but it's been de rigeur for politicians of every party ever since year dot.
