Goodbye Rosie

Don Partridge collapsed and died on Tuesday. Old timers will recall his hit "Rosie"; young un's in Seaford, Newhaven, Peacehaven areas will know him from busking. He was a very nice fella.

When i was a young'un I bought that record!

Didn't realise he was so local. saw a 'one man band' in new Road a few months back but no idea if it was him. had a tall hat which would raise when he played his penny whistle. the foreign students loved it.
