Goodbye Mark - Sorry it worked out this way

I know we all have strong feelings on this subject. We love our club very much.

MM did allright for us for 2 sesasons.

I can honestly say that, yes, it was right for him to go. I have not been happy with things since mid last season.

However, he is not a bad bloke and we can be a bit too vociferous at times and maybe we should just say thanks for trying, no hard feelings, all the best for the future.

Once, we were voted best fans. Are we now?

I am guilty as the next man for wanting MM out; but it's not personal.

Can we use this thread to send on our best to MM and get back to doing what we do best. Loving our club.

Good Luck Mark..................Hope you will still support us in our quest for Falmer.........Our previous managers have. We will not be able to compete at our natural level untill we are playing in a purpose built stadium as well you know!!

Good luck in the future and thanks for trying your best:clap:

The season before last was a great achievement by the management given th resources we had. Many great memories - West Ham away, beating Sunderland, Tottenham, Ipswich on the last day of the season. I haven't forgot the good things you did for us. Good luck.

Blame Dick Knight if he had given you some cash and a bit of backing who knows what you could have achieved.

You don't even support Brighton. At least, reading your posts, I find it hard to believe.

100% away record this season thinks this makes me a better fan than most on here.

Cheers Mark McGhee, with proper funding in your hands I don't think we be in the situation we are today. Good Luck for the future.

When fans look back there will be fond memories of games when you were in charge.

Think he did a good job and might well have been strung up for the vultures to pick at his bones by someone else within the club.
Scapegoat maybe. He still leaves with dignity.

I'm sad to see him go, but understand that it was probably the best decision in the end.

I think in the end he simply got ground down.

I really liked the honesty and quite frankly the "bollocks" of the bloke. He turned down a job at Celtic with Strachan to see us through to Falmer.

A very strong personality and whatever anyone else thinks one of my favourite Albion managers for that (and I've seen a few)

I'll be sending him a letter of thanks.

Anyway - onwards and upwards, managers always come and go, but thanks Mark.
