Over the years there are many moans and groans about Ref A hating us, Ref B always gives penalties against us or books our players for no reason. Ref C never gives us anything. Just interested if there were/are any favourites or good ones?

Good:

Roger Milford
Brian Hill
Martin Bodenham
Richard Beeby

The one who always stood out for me, at least in the games I saw him referee, was Ray Lewis. Always seemed in complete control of the game and never fussy. Others may have thought differently, but I never saw him have a bad game.

Bad:

Andy D'Urso - thinking Leeds 2005-2006 in particular, where he gave a joke penalty when a Leeds player fell over Paul Reid's foot. Has been good for us in other games though.
Craig Pawson
Simon Hooper
Worst of the lot - Phil Prosser
