Tuesday is a funny old day.

Monday is behind us but the weekend is still some way away.

What does the day have in store for you?

Tuesday's always suck.

I am going to court to support my niece. Been up all night with the baby so it will be a long day.

Have a good one.

Unless I get a call to head off to Dublin I'll be home for the rest of the day, could be worse, could be better.

I just went to make a cup of tea and upon opening the cupboard door, a jar of sushi ginger made a leap for freedom, crashing onto the rim of my mug below.

Remarkably both remain unscathed.

I am taking this as a sign that it is going to be a good day.

Early into work as I stay overnight near the office (actually a bit late today) - but early home.

Preparing a proposal and presentation, then home to cook a Cottage Pie.

Yesterday was a loooong day. I left home at 6.30am and got home at 11pm. In between I was either chained to my desk or on a SHIT train. The longevity of my day was partly my fault for DOSSING around on here at times.

However, my reward for sticking at it should be seen today when I get sign off for four pieces of work from the trading desk and my returning boss shows satsifaction at my work.

And then tonight, I'm not going home. I'm going to the New Forest to stay overnight at my dads.

The weekly shop in a deserted Asda just completed and now it's off to bed, getting up around lunchtime and five rest days to look forward to. Shift work - you know it makes sense you 9-5 suckers!

;)

Long and stressy day at work yesterday, which together with the hour and half drive each way was no fun at all.
Today should be better as I'm "working" from home.

Tuesday Afternoon (Moody Blues), Ruby Tuesday (Rolling Stones), Tuesday's Dead (Cat Stevens), Love You til Tuesday (David Bowie)

Beatles from Lady Madonna;
"Tuesday afternoon is never ending"

Beatles lyrics from 'She Came In Through The Bathroom Window';
Sunday's on the phone to Monday,
Tuesday's on the phone to me
She said she'd always been a dancer
She worked at 15 clubs a day
And though she thought I knew the answer
Well I knew what I could not say.
And so I quit the police department
And got myself a steady job
And though she tried her best to help me
She could steal but she could not rob
Didn't anybody tell her?
Didn't anybody see?
Sunday's on the phone to Monday,
Tuesday's on the phone to me
Oh yeah.

Beatles 'I Am The Walrus';
"Sitting on a cornflake
Waiting for the van to come
Corporation T-shirt, stupid bloody Tuesday
Man you've been a naughty boy
you let your face grow long"

See, Tuesday is full of songs to hum and whistle, a day to celbrate in song!:clap:

I'm now all snuffly. Some sort of slightly allergic reaction.

The outlook for today has been downgraded to 'below average'.

Off for a bit now.

Got turned out early to fire alarms at Welcome Break services M11. Turns out they had burnt the fried bread, just in case anyone is headed that way later and fancies the fat boy breakfast... :nono:

Tuesday’s are one of my favourite days. Mainly because I spend Tuesday night down the Pub getting mashed up playing Poker. (I’m not so keen on Wednesdays mind)

Today has a ‘Good’ outlook given that the customer driven piece of work we had to complete by the end of week has successfully completed testing this morning. Hero status beckons, temporarily, until we completely cock something up. We’re good at that here.
