Thanks guys.........

one good thing about this i have been told..........i get to "self administer" the morphine after the op :clap2: :clap2: (you cant overdose though. it cuts out after so many pumps by all account :( )

I've always fancied having a go on one of those morphine dispensers, just a shame you have to have the operation first. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Good luck, you should be able to watch the game. Relative in hospital atm and they have a small TV screen with e mail and internet as well as a phone all on one station that can be pulled round over your bed! Think you have to pay for it but its gotta be worth it for the footy!

Hey Thanks everyone thats really nice

Tedebear......., the op is on my facet joints, at the lower part of the spine, there working on 6 of them, basically fitting a load of metalwork :lolol: so the first clown to come near me on an away match day with a magnet, will find out who i am quicker than they expected !!! :p :lolol: :p :lolol:

Trigger mate........., it will be a pleasure to buy you (yet another !!!!:lolol: ) JD & coke :drink: :lolol:

Sir danny cullip.........., i am actually having the op privately so all the facilitys are in the room etc etc, i have been pre warned at the operation assesment earlier this week, that for about 36 to 48 hours after the op i will be in extreme pain and very likely out of it on pain killing drugs :D (which is something to look forward to:lolol: )

again thanks all for the good wishes
