Not half as shit as the Tom Cruise version though.
I enjoyed it to be honest. One or two missed opportunities but a decent yarn and superb FX.

I agree with the panel - Bonfire Of The Vanities deserved SO much better

Also though Johnny Depp made a brave stab at Being Hunter S Thompson, 'Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas' could never really be done justice in a film IMHO

agree although the scene with the attorney hanging out of the car trying to sell drugs to another car with old tourists in is quality. LMAO

Life of Pi is supposed to be coming out next year as a film, which I daresay will be total wank.

Can't see how they could make it any good as a film.

I thought it was ok too. Falls into that category of films that are loosely based around a classic plot, rather than a straight adaptation.

I also enjoyed Cruises WOTW but the ending was really shit. How the hell did ALL the family survive and the house in Boston was still standing. And the appearance of the son was just a joke, he should have been toast! Ruined it for me.

Can't say I rated A Clockwork Orange compared to the book, though most people seem to disagree with me on that.
