Gonzalez's Gloves

During the warm up for the Ipswich game, my daughter and friends were asking the players for autographs in front on the WSL. Two boys said they liked Gonzalez's gloves, so he took them off, signed them and gave one each to the boys.

Maybe a small thing but they were amazed. Real class!

A simple gesture, but created a few Albion fans for life

Decent bloke, especially as they buy their own gloves/boots/etc

You might want to ask him for his driving gloves too - he doesn't need them anymore. :dunce:

that's Gonzalo Jara Reyes

Gonzales is our new third choice keeper - no idea how good he is but I hope it works out for him with us because he comes across as a smashing bloke

Saw him signing autographs and thought how nice it was. Hope to see him play some point

I doubt that, it's called sponsorship!

A lot of the lower Div players DO have to buy their own gear! Not sure about any of ours though, most of them prob have some sort of boot/glove deal etc. I would imagine that coming from the prem, Gonzales has one in place already.

I know quite a few Brighton players have to sort their own boots actually.... whether they get a budget, or something who knows. A lot of them buy from Matt Hicks new enterprise (presumbly he has legally acquired his stock....)
