It wasn't changed for Withdean so probably just keep it the same, it's tradition and a nod to our past.

time move on me thinks , of course we should not and will not forget our past but can u imagine in 75 years time the lads signing going down the shoreham road . personly i think its time to move on in this sense .

If you are going to sing the song, WHY? use Shoreham road? we do not play there anymore, it is like still singing Alan Mullery's blue and white army. It would make no sense, Singing a song of no geographical relevence in relation to our new home is daft

agreed we have a new home now and people have got to start to recognize this , we fought for falmer and we got it . we are now on the day the AMEX officially opens ,so going up the lewes road is where my vote is at .

No more daft than fans from Haywards Heath/Crawley/Horsham singing about Good Old Sussex By The Sea shirley?

Can all of the Terminator's ideas be merged into one thread please? There only ever seems to be one outcome.

wasn't an idea more of a question to what nsc'ers think we should sign .

Well, that is therelook out i guess. I just think that some things either need to be dropped or altered accordingly. We of course need to remember out history at relevent points but singin songs with words that hark back so far to the point of not making sense seems odd to me

The song is in the past tense anyway, reminiscing about days gone by so it is still relevant imo so why change it, it also keeps a link to our past too and where we have come from which shouldn't be forgotten.

Oh lads
..you should've seen us coming
Everywhere was blue and white
And everyone was running
All the lads and lasses, and all the smiling faces,
Going down the / Old Shoreham Road, to see the brighton aces
