I lasted booze free for 2 weeks, it was loads harder than I thought...

Anyone else try / succeed / fail like me?!

Most months are easy as I don't drink, only when on holidays but as i'm in Spain for a week I had a 1/2 with a meal as the temp is in the high 20's so no I failed which is disappointing.

I found it incredibly easy.

Then again, I don't drink anyway so it wasn't anything out of the ordinary

What do you mean complete it? Still a day to go!?!

I drank once but in my defense it was a friends party which was fancy dress and I bought myself a golden ticket to do so. Two other people bought me golden tickets which I didn't use.

Raised £740 to date. Anyone else fancies sponsoring me (*cough* Bozza *cough*) please feel free. https://www.gosober.org.uk/profile/philblackman

Being almost tee-total, this is one of the happier challenges in life.

I did not even realise it was non drinking month. What with Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Grandparents Day, Birthdays, Stop smoking, Breast awareness week, Tourettes Day, Pancake Day, St. Swithin's Day,Easter, Xmas, Pride week, Remembrance, Longest/Shortest Day, Clocks back, clocks forward etc etc.... i felt that seeing as October was fairly quiet apart from Halloween at the end of the month, then it was probably the right time to have a few scoops to celebrate before being completely sober to get ready for other events, where a few scoops would come to the for.
