Found myself queuing next to Glenn Hoddle as we both boarded a flight from Milan to London earlier today. He was very complimentary about us as is the way these days and felt we would be ok against AEK and what he described as a very young Ajax side - Marseille more tricky. You heard it here first.

Ah, Summerton does the 2 nights in a row then (he did the Milan-Newcastle BOREFEST yesterday). Virgo will be great value, being as he above all others really knows where this club has come from and can lend that perspective on the evenings events.

The one thing I'm a bit gutted about is that I can't record this game and watch it all back, being as I don't have TNT. I'd absolutely love to DEVOUR the entire build-up, half time and post match analysis. I guess being there will just have to suffice

I wouldn’t worry too much - we’re after the Liverpool game so they’ll probably still be eulogising over them!
