Pardew has a tendency to take vaguely decent strikers and make them worse than when they first met him, which is nice. He's also out for the rest of the season with a knee injury I think

Glenn Murray was loaned out to Reading by Warnock and sold to Bournemouth by Palace under Pardew. Palace rejected the initial offer but Bournemouth came in with a higher bid.

It's Warnock who regrets letting him go, but if you want to get into the subject of a club regretting Murray leaving and the consequences I think you need to look a little nearer to home.......

If we are saying GM at 34 is worth £3M... what would another full season of Bruno (at 35) be worth to another club, if we wanted to sell him.

Probably £1m as defenders do not command the price of strikers as there are more good ones available.
