Yes, you're right, Crabbers. The Community Centre people said they didn't want to host Glastonwick any more because 'they didn't have enough staff' (we provided the staff!) and because beer got spilt on their carpet! But then they must have looked at their accounts and missed the money we made for them every year...No hard feelings from me though, the Airport is a great venue. I'm away on tour when the Community Centre festival's happening, otherwise I'd go to see how they cope - should be interesting, it's being organised by a teetotaller, and I gather their star beer is Polish Heineken.....!

how about changing the record at Withdean instead of playing your own personal choice of music i nevr bother sticking my Stranglers or clash vinyl on the record deck anymore i ve heard it so often at Withdean, when are you gonna play some proper decent stuff like the Stylistics?

stop giving him more Stranglers stuff it gets boring the smae old stuff week in week out, as do the corny song titles supposed to go with the match what we should be getting is a fair mix of music which should always include stuff thats currently popular (as well as the Stylistics!!)

FG - I haven't played The Clash or The Stranglers for some weeks now, and I'd happily play the Stylistics for you if I have any of their music on CD, but I don't (we do have their greatest hits on vinyl, but there aren't any turntables at Withdean!)

John - you don't have to be NICE to FG. You just have to post a recipe....

Cheesy succotash recipe

Easy recipe for cheesy succotash, prepared as a casserole, made with French style green beans, sharp cheese and topped with bread crumbs.

One 16-ounce can French-style green beans, drained

One 16-ounce can whole kernel corn, drained

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup sharp American cheese, shredded

1/2 cup chopped green pepper

1/2 cup chopped celery

2 Tbsps chopped onion

1 cup bread crumbs

2 Tbsps butter melted

1. Combine green beans, corn, mayonnaise, cheese, green pepper, celery and onion. Turn mixture into a baking dish.

2. Combine melted butter and bread crumbs. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of casserole.

3. Bake at 350 degrees until crumbs are toasted and mixture is heated through, about 30 minutes.
