For some bizarre reason it's fashionable to hate cold play.
Yet other acts, far less talented are
accepted as "brilliant "
I fully accept that they are popular, but I simply find their music very bland. Nothing to actually 'hate' but equally nothing to get excited about.
They did put on a good show, though, but I would never listen to them at home.

Not ashamed to say there's a couple of Coldplay songs that make me cry Every Damn Time. For deeply personal reasons. God bless Chris Martin and his Coldplayblokes who all look like the other Brewdog guy. You'd probably be hard pushed to pick them out of a police line-up. You'd probably pick @jackalbion.

Gorgeous set BTW 😍

Funny you say that, because this is what the author looks like on ‘competition days’…

Very St Tropez, which is where @dwayne has just been.

f*** me Shania Twain is awful, has her voice gone?

Getting slightly better on that song
Its definitely got better - was VERY ropey to start with.

Not going to beat the iconic Dolly Parton in this slot though.

Kylie blew it out the water.

Her set is still available on YouTube for those who haven’t seen it and want to watch a masterclass in how to absolutely smash the Legends slot.

Fair enough but that wasn't my point

Just watched James and noticed the bloke I usually see in the pub was playing lead guitar

Really doesn't sound great although I've just read about her contracting Lyme Disease some years ago which affected her vocal cords. Lyme Disease can be devastating.

I personally know a German lady athlete that ran the Marathon des Sables 13 times including winning the female race one year. She then contracted LD which left her with a disability and she had to give up running. She took up rowing as a disabled athlete and I saw her win a silver medal at London 2012 Paralympics.

So maybe that explains things a bit for Shania Twain's voice ... I don't know.

Jesus Christ lads, if Shania Twain isn't up to much surely, someone, anyone, should be putting away the "It don't impress me much" line

I'd be interested in folk's opinion as to who could do the 'legends' slot justice anymore? We've lost so many and a lot are way past it.
Has to be a solo performer, rather than a band, and I'm genuinely struggling to think of anyone.
