Glasses for large heads

With advancing years I now need to wear spectacles. Sadly I seem to have a larger head than average. Normally the optician roots around in the back of the stock room for half an hour before emerging triumphant with a pair of seventies frames saying something along the lines of "here you go, Goitre boy, I knew we had to have something that would fit".

Does anyone know where you can get larger frames or even custom made ones? Thanks.

Moomin, that's the big headed people that is. I can't take the piss I can barely find a pair of sunglasses that fit.

try 'glasses direct' online - you can get different widths and have upto 4 frames on home trial. if you don't like the frames then no obligation

Also if you order any glasses and don't like them, then return them and get a no quibble refund.

I've had 6 pairs so far through them over a couple of years (inc prescription sunglasses) and saved a fortune on high street prices
