Anybody seen the new Slade DVD ? I was browsing in WHSmith today and noticed it on the shelf, I am no fan of Slade but I checked the back to see if Give us a Goal was on the track list. Much to my amazement it was. I nearly parted with my money but I have decided to see if I could find it on peer to peer and save the money.
For those who dont know Give us a Goal was a Slade single that was a total flop, but the video was recorded at the Goldstone in front of the North Stand before a match in 1978(?). I was there, 11 at the time. I only ever saw the video once, on Saturday morning kids TV. From what i remember it included lots of Goldstone scenes, crowd shots, clips of the match,fans queueing outside etc. I would love to see it again. Searching P2P networks right now.
