Lots of tree and shrub-planting action around the site now, although main landform re-sculpting is evidently still to be done. It's going to look magnificent once everything's grown in.

Green shoots everywhere: Met a father and his 11 year old son gazing excitedly at the site. Dad was a Pompey fan, born & bred. They've lived in Shoreham a few years, been to Withdean now and again...

But now... they've just signed up for family stand STs and so will be coming to ALL of our games next season instead. We are indeed living in fantastic times...

From ashes to ash trees in 14 extraordinary years... as the Times reports this morning, life will be good for the Albion at the Apex Stadium.

"But now... they've just signed up for family stand STs and so will be coming to ALL of our games next season instead. We are indeed living in fantastic times... " This is the phenomenon that many said would not happen and yet people from all over the County are getting caught up in the Amex/Gus/Albion mood. It's fantastic. If we progress well and manage this right, The Albion could be a serious side for many years to come.

Great pics by the way. And as for The Times this morning, thought I was reading The Gaurdian for a minute!

LOVE that first pic with the sunlight gleaming on the roof. It looks quite heavenly.

Those white sticks will never grow.

I tried it heaps of times as a kid and it never works. Surprised the club didn't do a bit more research on that.

Better to plant plants.

Bloody clever though to get a tree to grow with a cycle and pedestrian sign on it as in picture 2
