Some half-hearted sculpting work done since the last update. But plenty still needs doing if the whole spoil-spread area is to be returned by opening day to natural looking, emerald downland sward.

As for the stadium, impossible to capture any new angles nowadays, but caught two hoisting platforms apparently mating. Contact established, but no hi-wire act transfer of personnel. Terrifying. And people worry about sitting in West Stand Upper...

Nice pics of the stadium but why are you so hung-up about the unfinished landscaping? Are you the self appointed conscious of the nimbies? It will be done, have faith.

The words 'tongue' and 'cheek' are relevant to this series, which attempts to give prominence to a part of the development not usually of much interest.

Having said that, it will be interesting to see just how long it takes for the landscaping - along with those thousands of yet-to-be-planted trees - to bring about true, computer-simulated perfection.
