Bit quiet this time.

Grass almost starting to sprout here and there. Crocuses in distance - unfortunately out of shot.

Three crows landed and hopped about a bit, just as I was getting out sandwiches.

Fired off a few hasty shots as crows flew away. Lens cap left on again. Damn.

Possibly chose a bad day. Seems I may have missed as many as 22,000 lorries. Apologies.

Look out for GTFSW # 2. In about 12 months' time.

Looks more like a SOIL watch.

I think it is Crete.

Incidentally, and a train of thought here, has anyone noticed how clearly you can see the stadium from Ditchling Beacon? Three or four miles away and it looks massive. We're going to go over the Beacon to get to night games - it will look stunning with the lights switched on.

Must be a GREAT lens if you took that all the way from Crete. Good work.
In making the 3000-mile round trip, I foolishly expected NSC to drool over this first-ever picture of our site's (literally) landmark feature.

Anyway, tell you what: if someone really wanted a stadium built in Crete, it certainly wouldn't take 14 years. Planning permission, who needs it? Just pay off (or just shoot) the mayor, and Yiorgo's your uncle.
