The reaons many won’t be going have already been discussed.
For those who are on the fence, have another think. You may miss something historic and be forever regretful!
The club have done great here and stuck their neck out and secured 5500 seats. Let’s repay this faith by ensuring they are all sold. I and others have been critical in the past of some of their ticketing policies but on this occasion, the easy answer would have been to request a smaller allocation.
There are still 1000 odd tickets left
As long as you have been to the Amex or are going with someone who has you can get a ticket
There are 15 loyalty points on offer
If you are a STH or a member the club have saved you money (OK, it does not make it cheap but kudos to them being maybe the only club to have done so)
Yes, trains are expensive and you will need to overnight, but FFS, it’s a Satuday night, so get your mates together, get in a car, put in £20 each for fuel and get on the M6. You will problably find that you will spend less money than a couple of beers and a Kebab in town and won’t have a hangover the next day when you take the old lady out for Mothers Day!
To boot, you get to listen to the first semi-final and Huddersfield demolish Palace 4-0 again on the ride up north. All being well you be home by 3am.
