Damn that bastard Dick Knight for bringing the club back to Withdean and keeping us alive. I wish there was no BHAFC and I could spend my Saturday's shopping with my other half, cleaning the car, or cutting the lawn.
don't knock it till you try it :smokin:

I have done. In the summer. But I'm a football fan. I like going to matches and supporting my team. You chose to do other things. Like sharing with us the latest thoughts on sport, politics and current affairs from the perspective of an inbred caveman.

When we are walking out of Falmer with a jubilant air, the hope of better things coursing through our minds, smiles spread broadly across our face...It will be all the more richer for enduring the bad...such is life, you either top yourself or ride the wave...me, i'm on my surfboard and gritting my teeth.
:albion2:

Plus...I have just finished 1 bottle of wine and am on my second.

I'm about to embark on a round the world trip through Sainsbury's selection of international beers. And watching the cricket, pretending that I am actually there...

Good evening Das ! I made a rare visit today and all in all thought that the 79 minutes i lasted was good value for £26. If nothing else it has proved that i made the right decision in not going for the last 5 months.

Tha Albion is my home town club. I was born & bred in Brighton and will always bleed blue & white. I'm also a football fan and will take the good with the bad with my club which I've supported for 35 years.

That doesn't mean I can't disagree with some of the decisions made about the club, personnel, tactics etc etc. We're all human & we all have our own opinions. The critical thing is that there is passion and love for the club, which may appear divisive from time to time, but ultimately makes everyone stronger to succeed and enjoy any hard-earned success.

That's why plastic fans who support Prem Teams simply because they're on telly a lot and have never been to a game, never built up that special camaraderie with fellow supporters, traipsed across the country in appalling weather to crap grounds only to see their team get a hiding, will never Get It!

If the Albion ended up playing in Wild Park on a Sunday morning, I would still go, because they are MY TEAM.

Tell me, how exactly should the club respond to "stay away" fans? Build Falmer in half the time? Build a roof over the South Stand? Install heated, reclining seats? Yeah right!! They have no choice but to still run at a loss whilst at Withdean until Falmer is ready, in the meantime, all the stay away fans are doing are adding to the problem by making that weekly deficit bigger.

Until Rod Aldridge or Sheikh YuMahnie comes calling with multi-millions this won't change.

Go figure.

I am happy for you to think that I am mad. Being seen by a neanderthal moron as alright would be deeply concerning.

Watching the cricket, enjoying some nice food and a cracking selction of beers. I'm still happy. I hope you are too, my good friend.
