'Germany's front three of Mario Gomez, Thomas Mueller and Lukas Podolski have been given the night off by coach Joachim Loew '

I wonder if they are as good as they think they are? They are not going to break down Greek's 10 man backline that easily!

I'm pretty sure they are on the bench if not in the team, the Squareheads are unlikely to leave anything to chance.

Not the real one
Im watching it on ZDF HD.
Germans saying he picked the right attacking team. Pudolski and Mueller do more defensive jobs where as Lowe wants to unlock the Greeks with pace and movement. I think they are right. Using their squad's strength rather than sticking to what won them matches before.

I would love an upset though.

I think I heard Klinsmann say that minumum expectation is the Final. Arrogant? Of course but with total justification imo

Come on you Greeks.

England vs Greece in the semis. Germany humbled by the poverty stricken tax dodgers.

Priceless.

No point in having a tournament without a match v Germany. Hope to meet them if we get to the semis.

Marco Reus scored 18 goals in 32 appearances with 8 assists last season. He signed Borussia Dortmund in Jan. Fast, and has a few tricks. I think they hope he will unlock the Greeks tough defence. So maybe not arrogance.

Little video of him first goal at 1:40

Please please let the greeks win!

Going to do some silly £2 bets on them to win.

Just £20 in total on some silly scores

Will be funny if they win!

Pretty sure it's your browser that handles spell checking and they are all American English by defualt, I think there's an option somewhere to change it, or an add-on or something?

Reus and Schurrle are very, very good, more exciting than Muller and Podolski. Everyone knows about Klose. It's a tactical choice, Reus and Schurrle are more likely to create and do something than Muller/Podolski who are better on the counter with space to move into. No different to England Picking Carroll.

Greece have this one in the bag.

Other than all the possession, shots, clear cut chances and disallowed goals, the Germans are showing nothing.
