Wonder if his driving ban is nearly up; if it is the new owners of Cork City will take him in with open arms for the just about to start season (most clubs are in pre-season now)...

The most curious thing..
O'Callaghan has been been playing regulaly for Tranmere reserves according to their web-site, which would scotch the rehab rumours. Maybe he simply isn't good enough for them?

O'Callaghan is currently incapable of making a contribution on the pitch but is perfectly able to create mayhem in the dressing room. Which is why he left us, Ipswich, Tranmere...................

Source? He spoke up (perhaps out of turn) against certain goings on at the club, knowing he was on his way out. I love the way NSC has taken one interview (in the heat of the moment after a shocking defeat) and turned it, with no additional info whatsoever, into leading a full-on mutiny.

The guy has a problem, but no-one would deny he was a decent player when here. Given that there is so much admiration on here for "troubled" players such as Gazza, Maradona (and ability isn't the issue), I find it slightly out of order that everyone is so cheerful to see GO'C's career go down the pan. He probably has very little money, and little means of earning any other way.

Couldn't agree with you more, some people on here have very short memories.

suitably chastened (despite seemingly many whispers from a wide range of sources at each of his clubs that there have been problems). I am sure it is all smoke and no fire:blush:

Might explain why he was a "total arse", imagine trying to play 90 minutes pissed or massively hung over.

anyone who has played Sunday league football knows the feeling or knows someone who has/does.

it did seem he was trouble while on loan here.
