He's not a socialist. He's a man who's been sacked for anti-semitism who is admired by Nick Griffen. Also an opportunist who f**ks off the second things start going badly for him in a constituency.
Not just Jews but "Rangers" fans as well

time for the pringles me thinks
He's going to have to do a bit better than that. Griffen's admiration for him was extensively covered on Radio 4 this morning where his party leader refused to deny it. His party leader also refused to deny an anti-semitic quote that was read to him in the same interview. It's a bit stronger evidence than "absolute bollocks mate"

💯

The political spectrum isn't a linear line with hard left populists like Galloway at one end and hard right fascists like Griffin at the other.

It's more like a circle where these 2 dangerous lunatics meet and ideologies converge, with the centre ground 180 degrees from both.

Shocking indictment of British politics. Never has it been at a lower point. The country is being let down by incompetence and inexperience. Neither of the two main parties have any credibility. They are laughing stocks. Dragging our country into the gutter. Thats why Galloway was elected. People have given up. Labour couldn't find a credible candidate. Disgraceful. I dread the General Election. Labour will win, by default and nothing will change.

He's an idiot, albeit an idiot who is correct about the genocide being carried in Gaza by Netanyahu's government. Although as others have alluded to, he likely doesn't condem the massacre carried out by Hamas. He should lose that seat in the GE and slide back into irrelevance.

You got exactly what you wanted and voted for (twice) and it has all turned to shit exactly as you were told it would.

So now you're abdicating all responsibility for it and reverting to 'they're all the same'

So, I’ve supported the Palestinian cause for decades.

Does that make me an anti-semite in your eyes?
It depends on which particular Palestinian cause you support , the one to establish a state alongside Israel or the Hamas one which is to wipe out Israel and the Jews there in or could it be the one where you go with the Jewish state and the enjoy the benefits there of as many have done.

And no he didn't win because Labour didn't have an official candidate, because he got a much higher majority and vote count than Labour did in the last election for Rochdale.
Perhaps it's inappropriate to bring accurate facts into posts about George Galloway, but Galloway had a majority of 5,697 yesterday (Lloyd had 9.668 majority in 2019) and Galloway got 12,335 votes compared with Lloyd's 24,475 in 2019.
