George Foreman Grilling Machine

Aren't they great? I've just cooked a chicken breast and some courgettes to absolute succulent perfection - all juicy and yummy.

Anyone else a fan or is it languishing at the back of a kitchen cupboard?

If only it was self-cleaning though....

I had one but damaged it from cleaning it and the teflon coming off...but have to admit worth the money and well good!

Heading for shore
Haven't got one but always fancied the idea. Great for steaks too apparently.

I'm always wary of anything claiming to be self-cleaning. I was a Windower Cleaner for a while and this house I used to do had self-cleaning windows fitted, they were shit, but then I would've said that wouldn't I.

Everyone has one of those in Lancashire. They're the northern equivalent of getting gym membership - everyone gets one, but only to make them feel better about themselves. They lie archived and unloved after their first use results in a bacon buttie impressively/unacceptably light on fat dribble.

Apparently George was offered a flat fee of a percentage of turnover when the manafacturer approached him to "put his name on it"

He wanted to take the flat fee but his wife had the sense to make him take the percentage of turnover.

Have to agree Lush, it's a top addition. I was amazed how much fat was left in the tray from a single piece of bacon, quite scary to think that has been clogging up the old arteries for donkey's years.

A survey was done by some research company on the top 10 household items purchased that were used a couple of times and then left to rot in the cupboard.
The 'George Foreman Grilling Machine' was quite high up on the list.
