Huh, this thread was in the Pit yesterday
Looks to me like the Bear Pit has itself been thrown into the Bear Pit. Very meta.

Equivalents?Haven't read all of this but will say I watch Headliners, the newspaper review hour. Much better than the BBC or Sky equivalents.
I've only just seen this from the 'Cancel culture' channel
The producers cancelled him during the break because he has differing views. What an absolute bunch of snowflakes
Armando Iannucci couldn't write better
Yes. Yes they were.Weren't they discussing freedom of speech?
About time.Time to give Geebies a 7 days broadcast suspension.

GB News: Ofcom says channel broke rules and warns over MPs presenting news
The TV channel is put "on notice" by the media regulator over its use of politicians as presenters.www.bbc.co.uk
The problem is nothing has happened, just a warning don't do it again. Gutless...About time.
Why did you not go on ?I got asked last week to go on the Patrick Christy show to comment on the Hull funeral story, I politely declined.
The whole story is an on going shit storm, and I know the 30 or so families we are looking after the moment certainly wouldn't want to see my ugly mug popping up on any TV station talking about funerals.
the stories been buriedI don't know what is happening with regard to these funeral investigations. But it would be helpful to know more.
Why did you not go on ?
I think GBN is a right wing news channel. But that said, it doesn't mean they don't cover newsworthy stories at times.

Have it from a good source it's just been resurrected. That story's died a death.
The Mail Online is profitable., GBN isn'tSomething like 125,000 watch.
They have no advertising budget.
Yet thanks to us snivelling wokists they receive well over £1,000,000 of free advertising a month.
Very much The Mail OnLine's business model - which 'we' fall for every single time.
I watched this channel the other day and thought it was very watchable. I never thought it was right wing, as they were piling in on the Tories a lot, I would have said it was quite central from what I have watched so far.Why did you not go on ?

That's certainly an interesting take. Nonsense, obviously, but interesting nonetheless.I watched this channel the other day and thought it was very watchable. I never thought it was right wing, as they were piling in on the Tories a lot, I would have said it was quite central from what I have watched so far.
I've not seen it that way. I'm not sure criticism of Tory policy suggests they aren't right wing.I watched this channel the other day and thought it was very watchable. Think what is important to remember is the Daily Mail, The Guardian, the Canary & say Guido are not bound by Ofcom. GBN News is.I've not seen it that way. I'm not sure criticism of Tory policy suggests they aren't right wing.
Politically, I tend to find myself left of centre. But for news, I insist on impartiality. I wouldn't read The Canary for example, even though I might find myself in agreement on some of what they write.GB News really is the other end of the spectrum. Not for me.
That isn't to say that they may have some very worthwhile features. I really don't like the Daily Mail, and I choose not to read it, but that is not to say that they haven't printed some very useful articles over time.
