My 8 year old son is really made up because Gary Stevens went in to his school last week. Apparently took in his Albion Cup Final shirt as well as Spurs and England ones, well done Gary.

Apparently Gary runs a soccer school in Cranbrook, just wondering if it's connected with the Albion, Spurs or just something he's set up independantly, anyone know?

Hes based in Tunbridge Wells and has set up these schools on his own. Does quite a few in the area apparently, but more than that I do not know.

He lives in Hawkenbury on the outskirts of TW. He offers coaching services to all the junior football clubs in the area and seems to be generally respected for what he does.
My understanding is that he is independent of any particular club. He was presenting awards at the summer football fiesta for the club both my sons played for. He was introduced as the ex-Spurs and England player to which I yelled "and Brighton" - he did acknowledge the fact that he played for us as well - not something that I would expect Lawrenson to do!!!
