Gary Stevens is not coming to us

Well if that doesn't smack of desperation I don't know what does. He says he was looking for a project and this was very rare! Err yeah, you are now manager of Gabala FC MR Adams and I feel the odds of me ever finding this place are seriously slim.

He has quite obviously gone for the money, as has Gary Stevens who is probably on more than Gus now due to the rich Billionaires out there.

The news of Adams's job has echoes of former Chelsea manager Phil Scolari's appointment as coach of Uzbekistan champions Bunyodkor in June.

Scolari is reportedly being paid an annual salary of £7.5m.

Blimey.

Ill bet you he is on a ludicrous salary, as it says Scolari did something similar and he is raking it in. I'd rather have money than fame personally so I won't blame him.

My gf is Uzbek, and she doesnt understand Scolari at all, as most Uzbeks are trying to get OUT of Uzbekistan because of an oppressive government..ive suggested its about money to her, and she thinks thats got to be the only reason.

Really? I can think of 7.5 million reasons to stay in Uzbek personally...

Good, always found him a bit smarmy and he once appeared on one of the southern TV programmes, after a visit to the three barstewards at the Goldstone stating that Bellotti seemed to have the good of the club at heart. I decided to class him as a wanker from that day on.

A league of only six clubs eh? Even a manager of Tony Adams unique ineptitude should find it hard to get them relegated. That'll be why he's gone there then.
