definatley an option worth considering. but when you see he was the top goalscoring midfielder from all teams in qualifing then it shows just how important he is.

Not to mention that he is the team captain and has by far the best completed passes ratio for England as well !!!

GN has had a great tournament. He has always received a lot more shite from the fans than he deserves. I am sympathetic to the idea of his becoming captain - he is hugely respected in the game, not just among the England players, at least in part for his work with the PFA.
