Just overheard someone on the phone to milan talking about gary megson going to bolton. Amazing what you hear on a flight back from dusseldorf! If it has not already happened then get your money on! Milan is not happy based on how the conversation went.

Can't find better at present although he's not listed online at Bet365 or Ladbrokes and their books for this only operate during office hours. Interestingly (or not) Corals would only take a bet up to £50 and they then immediately removed the book.

Gary Megson is another Bryan Robson or a modern day Alan Ball who has failed at most jobs miserably but always seems to be able to get another one.

Although in Robson and Balls favour they wre both good players.

Sorry about first post being a little vague I was typing it whilst trying to collect my baggage from Heathrow.

Basically whilst we were sat on the tarmac in Dusseldorf (second flight on way back from Moscow) my ears pricked up as I heard someone constantly refer to Milan on the telephone. He was an arrogant agent type of person who was obviously having a detailed conversation with Milan, who I immeidately assumed to be the Leicester Chairman. Anyway as the conversation developed basically it was clear that Milan was furious as Gary Megson's agent had lined up the chance of the Bolton job without any discussions with Gary. However it seems the agent is very convincing, and that Gary Megson would find the chance of managing in the Premiership too hard to refuse and therefore from what I heard (and it was only one side of the conversation) I would say Megson is on his way to Bolton.

The funny thing was the arrogant tosser was sat immediately behind someone who is a sports photographer and who I am sure was listening like me, so the story will break sooner rather than later I would have thought.

How cast iron this is I'm not sure, but the facts of the conversation are as laid out above. Certainly worth a speculative punt, but not sure who is offering odds on this?

Megson hasnt even signed a contract at Leicester yet, so theres absolutely nothing to stop him talking to Bolton if he wants to. And Bolton wouldnt have to pay a thing in compensation.
