I think you need to perform and change games at the highest level and consistently to be considered the best in the world. May I remind you of a chap called Rooney. Considered by many to be the best in the world when terrorising Prem defences, but somewhat lacking when it comes to changing games at the business end of the Champions League and international tournaments.
