I've always found him to be a pleasant chap, met him once at a WW game way back.
Hope he does well at QPR, their fans deserve a bit of luck in the managerial department.
A similar position to us, in regards to managers not hanging around for long.

That doesn’t surprise me at all … and if you can see beyond the Spinal Tap meets Office opening to that video, I admire his honesty and (yes) he’s clearly a good hard working bloke… here’s hoping he does well at QPR, a club (for some peculiar reason) I quite like :/

Ah chortle … but (alas) no… you see he’s a legend there… it comes from, you know, staying long enough (and) through thick and thin and becoming part of the fabric of the club - playing for and managing… in those (rare) instances fans are very forgiving… I suspect he had offers, opportunities… he’s only gone now to another club close to his heart.

It’s not, no not in this instance, about cold hearted (detached) ambition and money.

But shucks, I guess we shouldn’t always look to take a veiled swipe at a certain former head coach of ours… it’s simply not on.
