16 years for me. I like my unfinished garden projects …. I’ll be a bit bored if it ever boiled down just to maintaining perfect borders and ‘rooms’.

18 years . . .we've been round the block a few times . . .just about to have some brick paving done off the back of the house and up to the end of the pond for dining, new path and steps to man cave.

This weekend I've set a few bricks in pug to support the old sleepers across the pond, much to the chargrin of the newts. Also lifted the last of the 70's crazy paving round the pond . . . .we need to find an alternative.

I also painted the old doors/windows into the Zefcave and the soffit . . . Those old crittals are not a quick job to paint.

I've planted a few daffs in my friend's garden the last two autumns. I think they look lovely at the moment. There's a few rogue tulips, but I don't mind them. There are loads of different varieties of daffs, giving colour for a good couple of months due to each variety flowering at a slightly different time.

Yes. There's groups of them, plus Rudbeckia, Sedum, Nepeta, Phlomis, 2 colours of Phlox and dots of Calamagrostis and Miscanthus.

The bulbs I got from Parkers, and the herbaceous stuff I got from a very good mate of mine!

I used Parkers last winter in buying my first ever tulip bulbs, as they alone had plenty of stock.

I'm a week behind at the moment. I watched last week's this morning. What an amazing woman Sue Kent is. She made me laugh when she said she was keeping her toes crossed! I'm a big admirer of people who make jokes at their own expense.
I'll watch today's programme at some point soon and see what Frosty's new garden looks like.

I much prefer that to Gervais mocking people.

She’s great, so positive and a quality presenter, I think it all started when she got a 5 minute GW viewers slot during lockdown.

Can the panel please advise me on how best to populate this planter at my cricket club?

It is roughly 5ftx3ft. Soil depth is not great but presumably adequate for likely size of plants. It can/will be watered most days as needed but lower maintenance would be good if not compromising aesthetic.

Which flowers will be best and how should they be arranged?

Grateful in advance for all help.

If its for cricketers, something 'herby'?

The busiest plant in our front garden is lavender, always a queue for snacks, even hawk moths on occasion, low maintenance, smells nice. . . . I'm not really qualified to comment on anything else.
