The bloke is a second rate poyet, the football is even more boring than under GP but at least he was a bit of a character. Based on our position oscar is fine but I can barely be bothered to go to the Amex these days, it's just a strange habit I can't break!

Hold your nerve, I'm also not happy with this inability to score either. Its gonna be a white knuckle ride from here, Middlesbrough has become a must win game. As for defending Garcia, he does set the team, the game plan and the substitutions all of which have questions to be asked, but he does not miss the shots or let the goals in.

Garcia is head coach and though he will have a say in who we sign, prospecting for players is NOT his job. Far too many dud signings this year. Wrong to be throwing all the blame at Garcia when players keep mis-firing. He can only work with what he's been given. He should definitely stay but we should be looking at appointments elsewhere. Starting with our scouting network.

I'd be open to changing my mind if there were any evidence that snap changes in managers made any difference.
What evidence there is points the other way.

I'm almost the same as you, going to a game just isn't exciting but resignation to more of the same. Doesn't matter who we play we set up the same way, play the same way and we normally win or lose by the odd goal. It's soooo boring.

Keep Oscar in but forget this season now - Lets use the rest of the games remaining for exerience to the youngsters and for those we may keep to fight for their places next season.Get a decent playing budget lined up start looking at players to bring in over the summer and lost of all lets not waste the opportunity to get a head start on the competition for next season.

Ballcocks! We're 3 points off of 6th with a game in hand, and have 8 out of 9 very winnable games to play - why on earth would we give up on the season now?!

With the club reining in expenditure (hence why big baby Poyet was angling for his own departure), OG is having to deal with the remains of squad that under Poyet certainly didn't set the Championship world alight with a stack of goals.

Something is long-term wrong in terms of creativity in the squad, and quite possibly too much in payroll costs going to the likes of CMS based on Gus's crazy decisions, hamstringing the club with FFP, who are unable to take the necessary actions in getting creative players and fit (Championship quality minimum) strikers in, during transfer windows.

Thing that frustrates me is that when we do score we just sit back not saying he needs to go but something has to change quickly !! All this no money look at burnley it can be done ..

Our season started so well last year, we have to ask what happened to the squad that's caused this drop in performance? We've lost Bridcutt, Barnes and El-Abd, and haven't brought in enough in the way of strikers to score goals. We can push forward really well, but lack the finishing touch. Meanwhile at the other end, our defence seems to be all over the place when the opposition breaks, even if we've dominated them throughout the game.

Can't be arsed to read the thread but anyone who wants to sack a manager who has a style that creates loads of chances and restricts the opposition to very few needs their heads looking at. Blame the players not the manager, I am sure Garcia will sign the players who can play the game his way and release those who don't. I expect that's why so many players have not been offered new contracts. Massive clear out at seasons end IMO.

I expect us to be a totally different proposition next season with players who can play the Garcia way and I expect the midfield to contribute far more as an offensive package next season.

Have to confess that I have given up on this season now.

We've dominated the last two games and lost, go figure, that's football.

Oscar's doing a great job under the circumstances, but Tony really does need to get his chequebook out this summer & strengthen some key positions (striker in particular)

I don't trust the guy who picks the players for Oscar to choose from. He has found one quality signing this season in Ward, the rest have been a waste of wages.
