I am still catching my breath after a whirlwind start to the Premier League season over the weekend but it's time to turn our attention to the National Team once again.

There are still a very limited number of tickets left for the game on Wednesday night and to avoid dissapointment I would advise you to get yours now.

This is where the hard work really starts so close to the Qualifying for the World Cup and all players in the squad will be desperate to show their credentials ahead of the real stuff starting next month. After some highly impresive performances at the end of last season this will be a severe test as opposition in Europe does not come of much higher calibre then the Czech Republic.

Come on England, you can do it!!

:clap2:

Your enthusiasm is wonderful, enjoy it ( and I'm sure you will even if we get stuffed). I won't be watching

I have barely been able to SLEEP without knowing who Capello has finally settled on to be captain of the proud footballing titan that is England. If reports are to be believed, the Italian maestro has whittled his options down to two - either the inspirational powerhouse and legendary collosus that is more commonly known as John Terry. Or the sublimely talented, dazzlingly intelligent and perceptively influential craftsman that is Rio Ferdinand.

One things for sure - whoever Capello choses, its the FANS who will be the winner, as our new captain leads us into a bright new dawn of global dominance at the head of a team brimming with class, imagination and a faultlessly inspiring work ethic that other countries can only aspire to.

I'd say 6.5/10 Easy. You've overplayed the adjectives. Crodo very carefully only uses one, he just makes sure it's a good'un. The man's good at what he does, you've got to give him credit.

Dunno about Capello, he seems to be picking old useless c*nts we've been watching before under previous tossers, instead of and 'revolution' like thinking for himself and picking anyone unusual.

There is no need for a revolution, it's all about evolution, a few tweaks here and there from the McLaren era will seal the deal and see us qualify for the promised land of South Africa 2010.

Out of interest who do people prefer in goal these days? Paul 'Misses' Robinson, Carse the Farce, Calamity James or that bloke that bloke from Peterborough
