I assume those of us 'of an age' have already seen this film, many many times over.

But it would be remiss of us not to give the little ones a reminder to watch.

Worth watching for the lime green 2CV Dolly alone, plus Considine, plus Stretch can actually act. Shane Meadows for me is very hit or miss, and more miss than hit, but DMS is a solid 6.792/10

Brilliant gritty film and Paddy Considine should have got the Oscar for the most powerfully scary utterance of the C word ever in a film. Nice twist at the end and nice performance by ex boxer Gary Stretch as the main villain.

Not to be missed!

...according to my sky box there's.'very strong language/violence/drug use'.

Is that a choice?

Agreed.

It is hard to put into words just how good this film is.

The mix of brutal violence and dark comedy is compelling

Nice gesture, but most of the newer generations don't watch TV full stop... Why would they need a "reminder" when everything is on demand these days?

My thanks to all the posters on this thread.
As a result of your comments I recorded this film a couple of nights ago and watched it tonight.
Outstanding film

One of the best British films of recent years, surely?
