Because on that first 45 minutes they are way better than us.
We can't defend and create little. Playing side ways on the half way line 2-0 down and a minute to go and we can't work out that the ball needs to go into their box to score. - no urgency or football sense
Depleted squad ? Excluding hinsh who is a youth player we have 4 players Injured I think. No excuses, weve just been rubbish the last 2 games and I suspect it's because of Roma.

The positive news is that we've got some really good players ready to come off the bench, at two down we could still turn it around in the second half. I guess fatigue is an issue today given the selection, plus having half an eye on Thursday.
I'm sure the second half will be much better, perhaps we'll see a bit more of Barco.

No injuries really is key. I hated the line up and it has gone as expected - but it’s really not the end of the world. Again, no injuries is critical.

Webster was doing Webster things but when you watch it back, as great as a strike it was, Steele just goes down on knees and watches it into goal..... probably would've scored anyway but not even an attempt at a save.
Dunk ball watching but we all know that's uncharacteristic unlike Webster.
That said Fulham have only had those 2 chances, I think we're playing better than them except final 3rd, Encisio looks busy and good and I just have a strange feeling (to be extinguished soon I'm sure!) That we're not out of this.
Score next and early and its really game on.
