Support REMF...??? Well that,s not many is it.

Have a look at their forum. The thread on Tonys death was put in the away fans section and prompted just 6..yes 6 , replies. Two of which were from Brighton supporters.

They shouldn't be allowed anywhere near our forum, but thanks to the ineptitude of you moderators they proliferate on our forum with impunity.

Most Palace fans would not of even been aware of the thread in the away fans forum as i certainly wasn't until i saw the above post as not a part of the forum i ever visit.

Well i for one would of posted had i seen it like i did atleast three times on the thread on here.

The away section gets a lots of traffic. Plenty of sour grapes about BBS here but i won't follow that trend because through gritted teeth i must say you have a very tolerant board.

Let them do what they want, sticks and stones, I have never encountered in 26 consecutive home & away games anyone from South London that I didn't feel completely superior to in every way

Hillian, Buzzer and Blue Valkyrie don't come out of that thread well.

Good, although I can't see it, Dave Jong Un has made it so you must register. Which makes him a total tool.

Precious twats.

This site has the potential for being a good Brighton and Hove Albion football supporters site. Unfortunately...IMHO....it is let down by the liberal attitude shown to our caravan dwellers up the road.

I feel quite certain that with better moderators who can tell the difference between a Palace troll and an unhappy Brighton supporter this forum could actually be far more interesting...and informative.

You say I now have a 3 point 'infraction'...what exactly does that mean...?

But you can't tell the difference because you give thumbs down to every palace fan regardless . As bozza said you don't make the rules .

I don't get this anti Palace fan bit. Ok they're fans of a rival club but so what? If they want to have a half sensible football discussion or light banter, I'd make them welcome. Some of them post more sense than a few on here. Being a Palace thing is very unfortunate for them and we should have sympathy, it doesn't make them bad people!

FWIW I'm also on the liberal wing of the issue of Palace fans posting on here. I wouldn't discriminate against anyone or prevent them from posting on the grounds of their race, sexuality, religion etc, so why do so because they support our bitterest rivals?

IMO We have more in common with Palace fans than the supporters of 'big' teams in the Premier League. We don't choose to support either the Albion or Palace, it's part of our birthright due to where we were brought up, taken to our first match by a friend or relative, and that's it, you're in for life, for better or worse.

Far better to support your local club than one of the 'big' PL teams because you feel that by doing so it increases your social status as you bathe in the reflected glory of their badge kissing mercenaries living in gated mansions, owned by wheeler-dealers, chancers or billionaires with no historic or social connection to the club who are on a vanity trip and the ownership of one is something else to do along with the luxury yachts, private island, helicopters and silicon enhanced nubile ex-model wife/girlfriend.

I loathe Palace as a football team, want them to lose every match, be humiliated home and away, be relegated this and every season, have their chairman to be revealed to be a wig-wearing goat bothering eunuch, but the people I know who are Palace fans are nearly all decent, fair and reasonable, as are nearly all Albion fans. If we beat them, take the piss, big style, if the boot is on the other foot, then have the balls to take it. We can usually cope with it in real life, so why not online too, but a collective road rage seems to come over some posters, and I don't understand why. The claims that Palace fans somehow 'ruin' threads by merely contributing doesn't wash with me. If they are being childish and taunting on a thread then report it and an infraction is likely to follow, as their aim to divert the original discussion into a slanging match, and frankly I can't be arsed with that type of behaviour. It's bad enough with Albion fans having a go at each other, as happened yesterday at Birmingham, but having to put up with it from a Palace fan is worse. However if they choose to debate the issue then let it be so, communication is good, lack of it can be costly (as fellow divorcees will no doubt testify).

Like it or not (and I think we are 100% in the not camp) Palace do have something to crow about at present, and the best response is to have the grace to accept that and wait for their fall, which as most Palace fans will acknowledge (privately if not publicly) is going to come one day, just as would happen to us should we be promoted too. It pisses Palace fans off when we give them credit for something well done(as many on NSC did when they finished so well last season) and provides them with hours of entertainment when the opposite occurs, so why make them happy by coming across as bitter, twisted and angry. I appreciate football is an emotional game (yesterday was one where the emotion was trying to decide whether to laugh or cry), and therefore the red mist sometimes clouds judgement, but life is too short to get upset by a comment on the internet from someone whose biggest crime was to be born in South London near Croydon.

There's rules on NSC, and we do our best to apply them, even the rules that as individuals we don't feel easy with. If you think I (or another mod) are being unreasonable/unfair/prejudiced then use the PM facility or contact Bozza, he has the power to sack us.

Agreed, and as much as I type this with gritted teeth, both Palace and the Stains did really well over this weekend and look far superior to any team we can put out atm. Also their fans make far more noise than ours. Sorry but the truth sometimes hurts.I will wait for the thumbs down as I live abroad and don't get to many games :(
