Evening all.

As a budding sports journalist I try to cover as much as I can within the world of football and your club has been lucky enough to have been my focus for my most recent piece.

All feedback, positive and negative, is appreciated but try and make any criticism constructive rather than saying I've written a load of shite!

Thanks!

Good read that, thanks. No real criticism but I believe our chairman made most of his money through business deals and property rather than poker playing which is more of a hobby (he is just a very good poker player).

Over there
I was just going to say the same thing about bloom, but overall a really good piece. It's never been a more interesting and exciting time for a fan and a neutral like yourself to follow the boys in the old Brighton blue

Clearly the concept of sarcasm hasn't yet reached your particular area.

Thanks for the feedback, what would you suggest I do to improve my second rate literary bollocks?

Indeed; I know a few Brighton fans so look out for their results. Seems like a great time to be a supporter of your lot as you say!

Nice piece, although you could have used an updated picture of the Amex!

I'll try and find one and edit it, thanks!

It's a decent piece, although I think if you re-read your second paragraph you'll agree it doesn't read as smoothly as it might. As an ex-sports ed/sub, that would be the section I'd be chucking back at you for a re-write. Also most estimations of our possible seating expansion put the increased capacity at much nearer 30,000 than 35k. Not sure where you got that figure from.

But overall it's a decent summary and few Albion fans would quibble with your conclusions about the forthcoming season. PM me if you want any more in depth comment.

I don't think it's "attenention (sic) seeking second rate load of litteeray (sic) bollocks".
Nice read.

So you'll try to find an updated photo?
You might find that a bit hard, I don't think anyone's taken photos of it (sarcasm has reached my area)

Yeah, I was trying to sort it but ended up leaving it as writer's block became too frustrating!

Will PM you shortly.

In my own strange world

At the point you wrote "flew the nest" which was roghly one sntence in, it was clear your ability as a writer is copied from the majotity of freelance "hacks" desperatley seeking an extra few quid that could be paid by one of the glossy football "lads" mags.

And just so you know, "sarcasm" is the lowest form of wit, pracised by the weakest, in order to disarm the ptential assailant.

Thanks, managed to find a picture from inside the stadium so have used that instead.

No problem, nice of them to keep up with you last season, eh? ;)

The comment "lucky enough" looked rather tongue in cheek to me. Plus the guy may take your criticism a little more seriously if you could spell literary

Very much a tongue in cheek comment!

Criticism like that is irrelevant as there's no substance to it whereas what The Sock Of Poskett said is a lot more beneficial for my development as a writer.

No problems with that. Good read mate.

Thanks!

Good little piece mate, I believe the capacity is to be extended to 30k not 35k as far as I know.

If you really want to know what it takes to be a sports journalist, we have a poster called "Not Andy Naylor", he's a freelance sportswriter, so he might be able to give some advice. Why don't you PM him to see what he thinks?

Mate do yourself a favour, shut up. You can't type let alone spell.

I read somewhere that the capacity was expandable to an approximate 35k; can't remember where but hey ho.

Will get in touch with that poster, cheers for the heads up.
