Trigger, just get in touch with you're feminine side and bloody watch it. I seem to remember you not being so keen on air hostess the first time you heard it.

I think friends is one of the best ever TV series, the actors are funny, and the writing is absolute quality. I honestly can't see how people can not like it, what’s not to like? ('Custard? Good. Jam? Good. Meat? Gooooood.' :lolol: )

I am letting the votes of this poll decide if i EVER watch it or not, that is the idea anyway but it's getting WORRYINGLY close now...

And who says i am keen on Air Hostess (I Like Your Breasts) now anyway?... I've never once sung it!... Honest, i haven't.

:)

i BLOODY LOVE friends.

i am sure there was a thread about this last week where i went on about why i liked it, so won't bither again.

ah, found it, this is what i said last time:

'I am going to stick up for it.

I reckon I have watched pretty much every epsiode of Friends, I absolutely LOVE it. I don't care if it is for girls, I think it is great.
It has good characters, consistently makes me laugh and I am genuinely dissapointed that it has finished.
I have enjoyed most series though I think the ones with Emily (Helen Baxendale) were the weakest. I think the current series has had some of the funniest episodes of the lot in it. That fake tan one was very funny. Possibly series 3 was the best but I could not be sure.

The only thing I would criticise about it is that every series they do one epsiode which is told in 'flashbacks' and, basically, is just a load of clips from previous series' episodes with a couple of quick scenes linking them. They are a bit crap and I was always dissapointed when I tuned in to find it was the flashback episode.

Heard on the radio today that there have been something like 250 epsiodes made. To keep coming up with a story for each episode for that long is, I think, incredible.

I don't care if you all think I am QUEER, I will miss it.'

Abolutely agree with everything above (apart from series 3 bit, as I cant remember which series is which). Hated the Emily character and will miss the programme which makes me laugh as consistently as Blackadder, The Simpsons and Cheers.

I don't understand the anal comparisons people draw with Frasier - which incidentally are almost always made by people who wish to make the point that the programme is sooooo much more intelligent in its humour. The two are different programmes which both succeed at their stated aims - they make people laugh.

As for the Joey programme, I'm not convinced. I think the characters work as part of a group.

I am looking forward to the 'Joey' spin off. He is, easily, the best character anyway and someone told me it is going to be written by the Friends writers so I reckon it will be good.

Completely agree with you mate. If that makes us gay, well, I'll see you at Swindon

Friends makes me puke. And we're talking accuracy and distance.

If any of those people were part of my universe, a bunch of fives would have to be administered every hour, on the hour for eternity. It's a real poverty of ambition that anyone has in life that they can find it funny. It's the current day equivalent of 1970s' Richard Stilgoe. And what a twat he was / is.

Ok, so i've been singing it for about TWO weeks now... Doesn't mean i like it, it's just catchy... And besides, i change the words.

:)

I prefer McFly. :lolol:

I am also very worried that i may have to watch Friends looking at these poll results. :(

The Large One - poverty of ambition? fair enough you don't like Friends but sorry mate but that's just crap.

You're right - shouldn't slag off (the vast majority of) people on here. But if I had to be tortured into saying which was my favourite Friends character or favourite Friends episode, I think I'd rather face further torture.
