Yasir was getting some right stick from the Kent crowd where we were sitting. Spilled a difficult chance but otherwise did little wrong. Problem is that Dwayne is immense in the field, good with bat and ball. Hard to drop.

Little bit of info I heard about Kent - they are so short of cash they only have two pairs of left handed batting pads for T20 for the whole team. They are in some real financial strife.

Thats not great news, are they overpaying players. I would have thought the manufactorer would have given some free of charge

I was there with a manufacturer who said he would have supplied them if they had asked. They aren't over paying (can't afford decent o/seas player) they have simply been mismanaged apparently. Loads of stories about how they are just financially naive.
