Would it not be a good idea to arrange a friendly on round 4 day, against say, 'Palace' who are also out of the cup, could bring in some much needed revenue, let's say £10 Adult £5 under 16 (Free if in family stand)

What does everyone think about this?

Nope. We have to re-arrange enough games it is and we need to be rested. No point wasting valuble recovery time on a friendly.

Yeah suppose you are right guess we should get a league game sorted.

Although woudl be a good idea if none of the league games can be re-arranged. as seems silly the lads resting,a lot of them dont like to have a week off during the season.

Aye, but Southend will be playing in Round 4, and therefore not be playing us.

ahhh. You are quite right! :) So another game to rearrange then! I imagine the gills and cheltenham will hav games on the 25th so having a rest sounds like a good idea, especially if the following weeks may have many midweek games (eg Northampton on the 29th)
